Brentwood yard sales this weekend 9/25
You cannot imagine what you can get at Brentwood, TN yard sales, especially when several neighborhoods decide to have them on the same weekend. Shadow Creek, Courtside at Southern Woods and Fountainbrooke have historically held them on the same day. This weekend, Saturday September 26, 2009 there will be bargains, treasures and clothes on sale in East Brentwood. These neighborhoods are just off of Concord road, 3 miles from I-65.
If you are looking for outdoor furniture, cds, TVs, handbags, old jewelry or just regular yard sale fare, you cannot miss sales in Brentwood, TN. I have been surprised at the number of antiques and collectable’s that are offered at rock bottom prices. The sale starts at 8 am, but come early for previewing. The good stuff goes fast and it is well-worth getting up a little early. Bring bags and cash and come with a smile; you won’t be disappointed.

Green Hills Real Estate Report for August
Green Hills real estate sales are still lagging behind sales in Brentwood and Franklin. According to the trends that we have been seeing in the Nashville marketplace, lower priced homes are starting to move, and the move up homes are still not being purchased. But knowing all of this leads us to believe that the people who are selling their starter homes to first time home buyers will now be in a position to move closer to Nashville. What did I just say? Green Hills real estate should start to improve quickly, and the next 12 months should be a lot better than the last 12 months.

Nashville Foreclosure Properties
Nashville foreclosure properties- I had a call Sunday from a lady who wanted to see foreclosure real estate in Spring Hill TN. She was visiting her parents in Spring Hill form Ohio, and she had decided that she wanted to move to Spring Hill. She had been doing some investigation, and had realized that the job market was much better in middle Tennessee than it was in Ohio, and based on the political climate, who probably stay that way.
Her desire was to buy a home in Nashville that had equity built in, since she had lost most of her home equity in Ohio. Foreclosed homes are sometimes a great deal, but you have to know what you are buying, and what the fair market price should be. That’s where a knowledgeable buyers agent comes in to play. The Foreclosure Real Estate market in Nashville changes quickly.
A good buyers agent will be able to us criteria that meet the buyers needs, and then find the best available foreclosure homes in the area they want to live. It sounds easy, but because the foreclosure market does move fast, especially the better homes, you really have to monitor the market on a daily basis.
I have an automated search that notifies my clients of every new foreclosure home the day it comes on the market. That takes care of part of the process. We then view the homes that look promising, evaluate the value of the home, and make a strong bid on the property if we think it’s the right choice.
I work with clients who are serious about building home equity fast. If that sounds good to you, let me know.
